EXPERTS TRAINING
 

   Forensic Science Centre of Lithuania (FSCL) provides trainings for persons who work in FSCL and meet the requirements of the Law on the Forensic Examination of the Republic of Lithuania. Persons who do not work in FSCL are not trained, but can apply for forensic expert qualification exam if they meet the requirements of the Law on the Forensic Examination of the Republic of Lithuania. More information on forensic expert qualifications for people who do not work in FSCL can be found in description of administrative service.

   FSCL provides training and organizes qualification exams in 38 types of forensic examinations:

  • Handwriting examination;
  • Authorship examination;
  • Examination of documents requisites;
  • Examination of documents materials;
  • Examination of printed texts and printing machines;
  • Examination of banknotes;
  • Speech and audio analysis;
  • Portrait examination;
  • Examination of various marks, traces, prints, imprints and impressions;
  • Fingerprint examination;
  • Examination of motor vehicle traces;
  • Firearm examination;
  • Gunshot residue examination;
  • Examination of non-firearms;
  • Examination of fibres;
  • Examination of plastics;
  • Examination of paints;
  • Examination of oil and flammables;
  • Examination of drugs;
  • Examination of alcohol;
  • Examination of glass;
  • Examination of metals;
  • Examination of soil;
  • Examination of biological examinations (animal hair and plant materials);
  • Metallographic examination;
  • Banking examination;
  • Book - keeping examination;
  • Finance examination;
  • Work economy examination;
  • Road accident reconstruction;
  • Fire examination;
  • Work security examination;
  • Electro technical examination;
  • Examination of information technologies;
  • Examination of video tapes, CD's, DVD's as objects of intellectual property;
